Rob is a Lecturer in Information Activities at Cranfield University on behalf of the UK Defence Academy. He is also the former Deputy Director of the UK’s National Cyber Deception Laboratory. At the Defence Academy, he leads modules on the UK Ministry of Defence’s Cyberspace Operations M.Sc and helps educate senior military leaders about Warfare in the Information Age. His interests are focused on the nexus of cyber, national security, and warfighting, the legality of cyber operations, and the role of influence and deception in cyber. He previously worked for the MoD developing cyber capabilities and supporting the delivery of cyber operations. He is also the Director of the UK Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge.
